Our History
ECO-ENA: Economics & ECO-Engineering Associate, Inc. was established in 2010 in Ottawa, Canada, as a federally incorporated research and publishing entity. It was created with a clear purpose: to promote ethical, interdisciplinary research in economics, business, and eco-engineering, while fostering global academic collaboration and open-access knowledge exchange.
Throughout its years as a federally registered corporation, ECO-ENA hosted numerous international conferences and academic forums in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, building a strong reputation for scholarly integrity, inclusion, and innovation. Our peer-reviewed publications and international events brought together economists, engineers, and scholars from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful dialogue and policy-relevant research.
In April 2024, ECO-ENA officially transitioned from a corporate structure to operate as an independent research platform. This strategic shift allows us greater flexibility, inclusivity, and academic freedom while continuing our mission to support open-access publishing, knowledge-sharing, and sustainable interdisciplinary research.
Today, we remain proudly Canadian in identity and global in impact—committed to fostering intellectual exchange and supporting emerging and established scholars alike.
